Dr. Kevin Barrett’s Dark Side

Dr. Kevin Barrett’s Dark Side

Dr. Kevin Barrett seeks psychological counselling – because he was told by Gordon Duff (aka Dr. Evil) that he isn’t ‘evil’ enough to continue working for “Veterans Today”.   Kevin tries to convince Gordon that he has the confidence to impress and be a role model for other V.T. workers. He begs him to give him another chance and explains that everyone has a dark side, and he hopes that he’ll eventually get to know his dark side better. Here is an extract of their conversation during a counselling session on the Jerry Springer show:

Kevin: How could you do this to me? On national T.V!

Gordon: Well, throw me a frickin’ bone here, Kevin!

Kevin: Why did you run out on me? Why do you want me to stop working at V.T.?

Gordon: Because you’re not quite evil enough.

[audience boos]

Gordon: Well it’s true! It’s true! You’re semi-evil. You’re quasi-evil. You’re the margarine of evil. You’re the Diet Coke of evil – Just one calorie, not evil enough.

[Kevin Barrett then sings Kelly Clarkson’s song “Dark Side”]
