In his seminal 1862 work House of the Dead, Fyodor Dostoyevsky suggested one could judge a society by how it treats its prisoners. However, what he really should have said, more significantly, was: “One can judge a society by how it treats its dead!” The link below explains why this is so – from the biblical tale of Cain and Abel:
Below is a recent letter sent to Ann Diener – she is an author who has written articles for “Veterans Today”:
An Open Letter to Ann Diener (aka Raven Knight)
I am familiar with your news articles at the “Veterans Today” website, and your raven-like tweets on Twitter: ANN DIENER on Twitter
Your email address begins with your Raven Knight name ( raven_knight@… ) – so do you happen to like ravens by any chance? If you do, then that’s excellent – because I’ve got a great idea for a raven flash-mob truther dance campaign, which I hope you, or your friends, might like to promote, i.e. via your Facebook, or Twitter accounts.
Please watch the YouTube video below, as an example of such a raven dance:
Along with the “California Dreamin’” song by Sia – with the accompanying famous Raven Dance moves, Lisa Marie Presley’s song “Raven” would also be perfect for the flash-mob dance campaign.
The purpose of the Raven Night Dance Campaign is to highlight the issue of immoral/unethical burial of the dead – particularly in places like California. Laws have recently been passed in California to allow funeral homes to dissolve the deceased, and throw the remains in the public’s main water supply! It reminds us of that horrible liquid city pod “wake-up” horror scene in The Matrix movie – as the machines feed on the liquid energy of humans asleep as zombies, or even resting dead!
The idea of “dissolving the dead” was also recently promoted in Britain, but the British press stated that most people would find the idea “distasteful” – an understatement if ever there was one!
There is a story in the Holy Quran which tells of a raven teaching Cain the proper way to bury his brother Abel – who Cain had just murdered in a fit of blind rage and passion. Contrary to popular belief – as only believed in the U.S. military propaganda machine, the Muslim world does not approve of burial-at-sea for humans, or even for animals.
Ann, it seems that you have gained a great following through social media, so such a political/religious campaign would be perfect for you to manage and promote. Now’s the time to truly show what you can do as a Raven Knight – otherwise, what’s the point of having an e-mail address named Raven Knight, if you’re not going to live up to your name? Please let me know if you would like to promote this Raven Night Dance Campaign, as I believe that only you can promote it with the justice that it deserves.
The measure of morality in society is determined by how loved ones are buried. Dissolving them and flushing them down the drain is abhorrent and disrespectful –Even Dr. Kevin Barrett would agree with that statement – especially because he is known to write crap articles on “Veterans Today” – yes, literally about crap! In one recent V.T. article, he argued that people should not crap in water-based modern-day toilets, but instead do it in a more environmentally friendly way.
We should learn from the raven that once guided Cain on what to do – all those many biblical years ago – when he was taught the correct way to bury his deceased brother. Cain was able to give Abel a proper burial by digging a hole in the ground, so why can’t modern-day humans do the same? Are we really that bereft of moral judgement?
The Raven Night Dance Campaign would be an exciting and fun project to be involved in, and I’m sure it’ll also help bring many people together from all walks of life. For example, during the raven flash-mob dance, Muslim women or Roman Catholic nuns could suddenly appear fluttering like ravens in their long black dresses and veils, for that extra element of surprise. We could flash-mob raven dance at major political events to steal the show, or at important historical locations, or buildings for publicity.
Other ways to promote the Raven Night Dance Campaign, could be as follows:
- Promote this Raven Night Tale in musical theatres to be acted out in front of an audience, with dancers and singers.
- Develop a comic-book crime-fighting superhero, or heroin character named Raven Knight.
- Encourage YouTubers to “Step Up” to the challenge of a Raven Night street dance competition, by posting their dance videos online.
- Create a spoof musical Raven Dance film remake of classic scenes from “The Birds” Alfred Hitchcock horror movie (1963).
Please let me know your thoughts on the above suggestions. It’s for charity! It’s for the dead! It’s for the living too! So how could anyone possibly refuse to help?
DLM – Dead Lives Matter!
I look forward to hearing from you soon, and anyone else who may be interested in this flash-mob dance idea, for the one and only Raven Night Dance Campaign!!
Open here I flung the shutter, when, with many a flirt and flutter,
In there stepped a stately Raven of the saintly days of yore;
Not the least obeisance made he; not a minute stopped or stayed he;
But, with mien of lord or lady, perched above my chamber door —
Perched upon a bust of Pallas just above my chamber door —
Perched, and sat, and nothing more.
Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling,
By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore,
“Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou,” I said, “art sure no craven,
Ghastly grim and ancient Raven wandering from the Nightly shore —
Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night’s Plutonian shore!”
Quoth the Raven “Nevermore.”
